China's first "Little Hema" supermarket open for business

The Retail Study reports that the new fresh produce retail company Hema, daughter company of the Alibaba Group, has partnered with RT-Mart. Together they opened China's first hybrid retail test store "Little Hema" in Suzhou. This store is different from Hema Fresh Produce. The logos are also different. Little Hema only has those two words without any image.

Customers at Little Hema also do not need to download the Hema app. They only need to install Taobao on their mobile phone. Next they open the homepage of Taobao, enter the "Taobao Fresh" section, and start buying products. Daily delivery is free of charge and takes one hour.
