Whole Foods Market To Open First Texas 365 Store On April 26
365 by Whole Foods Market’s first Texas location will open at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, in Cedar Park, following a bread-breaking ceremony with company officials and the community. It is the fourth 365 store nationwide; others are open in Bellevue, Washington; Lake Oswego, Oregon; and Los Angeles, California.
The 30,000-s.f. Cedar Park store, at 5001 183A Toll Road in greater Austin, will offer a selection of grab-and-go prepared foods, grocery items, unique venues and retail innovations that streamline the shopping experience for customers seeking convenience and value on high-quality products without artificial colors, sweeteners or preservatives, according to the grocer.
The Cedar Park location will include full-service eateries from two Austin favorites: Easy Tiger, a local bakery and beer garden serving a selection of brats, breads and pastries; and JuiceLand, serving a full range of juices, smoothies and shots.
“Whether you’re looking for a quick in-and-out shop for a few items, stocking up on groceries for the week, grabbing a smoothie from JuiceLand, or meeting for a drink at Easy Tiger, you’ll find a blend of innovation and convenience in our store,” said Jeff Turnas, president of 365 by Whole Foods Market. “From the food offerings to the design, we’ve built a foundation on the quality standards you’ve come to expect from Whole Foods Market in a fun new format that’s easy to navigate and is focused on value in every department.”
The Cedar Park store marks the beginning of a new wave of 365 units, bringing greater ease to the grocery shopping experience through a blend of design, technology and experience, according to Austin-based Whole Foods Market.
A second Texas 365 store is planned for Houston.
