KeHE will supply Safeway's Texas stores
KeHE Distributors, Naperville, Ill., said Thursday it has reached an agreement with Safeway to become the specialty and natural food supplier for the chain’s 97 Texas stores.
The deal encompasses 63 Tom Thumbs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and 44 Randalls in the Houston and Austin markets. KeHE, which already distributes specialty cheeses to both chains, will begin supplying specialty and natural foods to the division on Sept. 1.
