BJ's Wholesale Club's Latest Omnichannel Initiative

BJ’s Wholesale Club members now have the option to pick-up and pay for their online order at all of its 213 locations along the east coast. The big box retailer's newest omnichannel service is aimed at customers who prefer to shop online, but like the convenience and immediacy of in-store pick up.

"We are offering our members total freedom of choice regarding how they shop at BJ’s Wholesale Club," said Bari Harlam, executive vice president of marketing and membership for BJ’s Wholesale Club. "Our new Pick Up & Pay option is another benefit of a BJ’s membership. This new service combines the at-home convenience of online shopping, including guaranteed product availability and our affordable pricing, without the wait for shipping and delivery."

Orders that are placed before 1:00 p.m. will be available for same day pick up, adding a level of instant gratification that is currently unavailable from ship-to-home services. Shoppers simply sign into BJs.com, select their local Club and reserve items. A BJ’s associate will hand pick orders and place them in a cart ready to be picked up and paid for at the services desk.
