Food Chain Security

LGS Supports C-TPAT and its Efforts to Safeguard the Food Supply

UnloadingLGS has been designatecd a Tier Two member of  the Customs trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) initiated and run by U.S. Customs and Border Protection  (CBP). We are honored and proud of this distinction because it means LGS has been recognized by CBP as one of the key players in the global supply chain, and it publicly acknowledges our commitment to help build a more secure and efficient worldwide trade environment.
Because this commitment is shared by all our business partners, LGS is entitled to all C-TPAT program benefits, including reduced inspections of all imported produce at U.S. ports of arrival and expedited processing at all border crossings. This, in turn, speeds product delivery to our customers and creates cost savings for our business partners.
